Overview

While documentation, training and performance support, and other authoring projects have many commonalities in terms of conceptual underpinnings, design and construction, they differ in the way one goes about developing them. Costing, and pricing, is therefore gone about a bit differently.

Payment terms

The basic "deal" is to pay an upfront deposit of half of either the estimated cost or the one-time package price and the balance upon completion, or the initial three months of a longer-term contract upfront, with that applied to the final three months of the contract. Larger or longer-running projects might be billed as progress payments. Prices are in U.S.D. We prefer PayPal or ACH/EFT/wire where possible.
